Imagine this: you go into work as you would on any normal day, and begin to check your email. To your surprise, you open a letter from Fandiem saying that you won a trip to meet your all-time favorite band. This is exactly what happened to Rich, who was in utter disbelief. “I was at work, got a random email, and I still think it’s a trick!” Soon enough, he realized that weekend, he would be embarking on a dream trip to meet U2 at The Sphere in Las Vegas.

Rich has been part of U2’s massive fanbase for as long as he could remember. Since their tour stop to his hometown of Chicago, IL, he’d been locked in as a lifelong fan. When asked his favorite song, he simply said “Can’t do it- there’s too many!”

As soon as Rich arrived in Las Vegas, the biggest question hit him- what do you say to the members of a band you idolize? Upon arriving at The Sphere, the words finally came to him. “It’s just a thank you, these people work so hard.” He continued, “You don’t have to be here, but you guys, you give it to the fans, and we thank you for that.”

The time came to meet the members of U2, and for Rich, this was the best conversation he could have imagined. “I met Edge & Adam before the show. Couldn’t have been cooler.” As their conversation went on with U2, Rich was truly amazed at how much they got to speak with them.
